Jellycat Amuseables Charlie Chip

At 18 cm, Jellycat Amuseables Charlie Chip is a golden brown amuseable built to be carried rather than shelved.

The piece itself

The Amuseables idea is simple and it works. An ordinary thing is given a face, two small feet and enough personality to earn a place on a shelf. Amuseables Charlie Chip reads as golden brown, and the stitching around the features is neat enough to look deliberate rather than merely cute.

Size and fit

Amuseables Charlie Chip measures 18 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Part of the Amuseables range

Amuseables Charlie Chip is part of Amuseables. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.

Who it is for

It sits on the amuseables food and drink side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Why we stock it

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Amuseables Charlie Chip included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
