Jellycat Melbie Peach Cake

Jellycat Melbie Peach Cake stands 16 cm tall, a peach amuseable with the quiet heft Jellycat is known for.

What it is like to hold

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is peach and cream, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

How big it is

Melbie Peach Cake stands 16 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Part of the Jellycat Characters range

Melbie Peach Cake is part of Jellycat Characters. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.

Who it is for

It sits on the amuseables food and drink side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Why we stock it

A Flying Wish stocks Jellycat plush alongside the outfits we design and make ourselves. Every piece is designed with purpose, made to fit many beloved plush companions, and the two halves of the shop are meant to be used together. Melbie Peach Cake is one of the plush our outfits are cut to fit, and the size guide sets out which pieces work with which band.
