Jellycat Amuseables Rene Waffle

Jellycat Amuseables Rene Waffle is a golden brown amuseable from Jellycat, and it stands 14 cm tall.

A closer look

Amuseables work because the joke is gentle. Amuseables Rene Waffle is golden brown and cream, given a face and two feet and otherwise left to be the thing it is, and the restraint is the reason it still looks right on a shelf a year later.

Size and fit

Amuseables Rene Waffle stands 14 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Part of the Amuseables range

Amuseables Rene Waffle sits within the Amuseables range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Left to dry naturally it keeps its shape, and the stitched features come through a wash unchanged, which is the advantage of embroidery over anything printed or glued.

Who it is for

Filed under amuseables food and drink, and chosen here for a birthday and no particular reason at all more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.

About A Flying Wish

Our outfits are cut, sewn and finished by us, not bought in, and the plush we stock are chosen because our pieces fit them. Amuseables Rene Waffle is one of those. If you are buying both at once, the centimetre band on this page is the number the garment listings are matched against.
