Jellycat Amuseable Orchid

At 29 cm, Jellycat Amuseables Orchid is a pink amuseable built to be carried rather than shelved.

About Amuseables Orchid

Amuseables work because the joke is gentle. Amuseables Orchid is pink and green, given a face and two feet and otherwise left to be the thing it is, and the restraint is the reason it still looks right on a shelf a year later.

Measurements and fit

The height is 29 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.

The collection it belongs to

Amuseables Orchid belongs to Jellycat’s Amuseables range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Amuseables pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Left to dry naturally it keeps its shape, and the stitched features come through a wash unchanged, which is the advantage of embroidery over anything printed or glued.

Who it is for

We list it under home and nursery decor, and it is picked here mostly for a new home and a new arrival. Big enough to notice when it is unwrapped, and not so big that it has to find a permanent home the same day.

Where this sits in our shop

A Flying Wish stocks Jellycat plush alongside the outfits we design and make ourselves. Every piece is designed with purpose, made to fit many beloved plush companions, and the two halves of the shop are meant to be used together. Amuseables Orchid is one of the plush our outfits are cut to fit, and the size guide sets out which pieces work with which band.
