At 43 cm, Jellycat Amuseables Monstera Plant is a green amuseable built to be carried rather than shelved.
About Amuseables Monstera Plant
This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is green, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.
Size and fit
Amuseables Monstera Plant stands 43 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.
The collection it belongs to
This one comes from the Amuseables range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.
Materials and care
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.
Suitability
As a gift it works for a new home and a new arrival, and it belongs to the home and nursery decor side of what we stock. If you are buying for someone who already has one or two, the range it comes from is worth a look for something that will sit beside them.
Where this sits in our shop
A Flying Wish is a small operation and it shows in the useful way: orders are packed by the people who made the garments, and the plush, Amuseables Monstera Plant among them, are checked rather than shipped straight from a box. The outfits are ours, the plush are Jellycat’s, and the sizing between them is the part we take care of.
