Jellycat Amuseable Hyacinth

Jellycat Amuseables Hyacinth is a blue amuseable from Jellycat, and it stands 25 cm tall.

A closer look

Amuseables Hyacinth comes from the Amuseables, which take a familiar object and make a character of it. The colours run blue and green, and the fabric has the faint nap that stops a plush looking flat in daylight, which is most of why these photograph as well as they do.

Measurements and fit

The height is 25 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Amuseables Hyacinth sits within the Amuseables range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Left to dry naturally it keeps its shape, and the stitched features come through a wash unchanged, which is the advantage of embroidery over anything printed or glued.

Who it is for

We list it under home and nursery decor, and it is picked here mostly for a new home and a new arrival. Big enough to notice when it is unwrapped, and not so big that it has to find a permanent home the same day.

About A Flying Wish

A Flying Wish stocks Jellycat plush alongside the outfits we design and make ourselves. Every piece is designed with purpose, made to fit many beloved plush companions, and the two halves of the shop are meant to be used together. Amuseables Hyacinth is one of the plush our outfits are cut to fit, and the size guide sets out which pieces work with which band.
