Jellycat Amuseables Potted Bamboo

Jellycat Amuseables Potted Bamboo stands 31 cm tall, a green amuseable with the quiet heft Jellycat is known for.

The piece itself

Amuseables work because the joke is gentle. Amuseables Potted Bamboo is green, given a face and two feet and otherwise left to be the thing it is, and the restraint is the reason it still looks right on a shelf a year later.

Size and fit

The height is 31 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Amuseables Potted Bamboo belongs to Jellycat’s Amuseables range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Amuseables pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Washing by hand keeps the nap on the fabric, which is the part a machine cycle flattens first, and it is the difference between a plush that still looks new after two years and one that does not.

Suitability

It sits on the home and nursery decor side of the shop and is most often bought for a new home and a new arrival. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

About A Flying Wish

Our outfits are cut, sewn and finished by us, not bought in, and the plush we stock are chosen because our pieces fit them. Amuseables Potted Bamboo is one of those. If you are buying both at once, the centimetre band on this page is the number the garment listings are matched against.
