Jellycat Amuseable Bonsai Tree

At 34 cm, Jellycat Amuseables Bonsai Tree is a green amuseable built to be carried rather than shelved.

About Amuseables Bonsai Tree

Amuseables Bonsai Tree comes from the Amuseables, which take a familiar object and make a character of it. The colours run green and brown, and the fabric has the faint nap that stops a plush looking flat in daylight, which is most of why these photograph as well as they do.

How big it is

Amuseables Bonsai Tree stands 34 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Within Jellycat’s catalogue Amuseables Bonsai Tree belongs to Amuseables, and that is the useful thing to know when you are choosing a second one. A range shares its finish and its proportions, so pieces from the same family photograph well together and, more practically, often share a centimetre band, which means they can share a wardrobe.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Left to dry naturally it keeps its shape, and the stitched features come through a wash unchanged, which is the advantage of embroidery over anything printed or glued.

Suitability

It suits a new home or a new arrival equally well. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

Where this sits in our shop

We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Amuseables Bonsai Tree among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
