Jellycat Amuseable Fried Egg

Jellycat Amuseables Fried Egg arrives as a white amuseable, 27 cm from base to ear tip, soft the whole way through.

The piece itself

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is white and yellow, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

How big it is

Amuseables Fried Egg measures 27 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Part of the Amuseables range

The Amuseables range is where Amuseables Fried Egg comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Who it is for

The piece leans amuseables food and drink, and it has been chosen most often here for a birthday and no particular reason at all. It wraps well, which matters more than it sounds when something is being given rather than kept.

Where this sits in our shop

Everything we make is built to celebrate the stories people share with the companions they keep. Amuseables Fried Egg sits on our shelves for that reason, and our own outfits are cut to fit it and the rest of the plush in its band. The size guide has the full table.
