Jellycat Amuseables Pink and White Marshmallows

Jellycat Amuseables Pink and White Marshmallows is 9 cm of pink amuseable, and the weight of it is the first thing anyone notices.

The piece itself

Amuseables work because the joke is gentle. Amuseables Pink and White Marshmallows is pink and white, given a face and two feet and otherwise left to be the thing it is, and the restraint is the reason it still looks right on a shelf a year later.

Size and fit

Amuseables Pink and White Marshmallows measures 9 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Amuseables Pink and White Marshmallows sits within the Amuseables range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Cool water and a little time are all it asks. Avoid wringing it out, since that is what distorts the seams, and press the water out with a towel instead.

Choosing it as a gift

It is as fitting for a birthday as for no particular occasion at all. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

Why we stock it

We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Amuseables Pink and White Marshmallows among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
