Jellycat Amuseable Candy Cane

Jellycat Amuseables Candy Cane is a red amuseable from Jellycat, stocked in two sizes, 27 cm and 54 cm.

What it is like to hold

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is red and white, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

How big it is

The measurement is 27 cm and 54 cm depending on the size chosen. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

The Amuseables range is where Amuseables Candy Cane comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Left to dry naturally it keeps its shape, and the stitched features come through a wash unchanged, which is the advantage of embroidery over anything printed or glued.

Choosing it as a gift

Its register is amuseables food and drink, which puts it squarely in the Christmas and a birthday bracket. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

Where this sits in our shop

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Amuseables Candy Cane included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
