Jellycat Amuseables Jellina Birthday Cake

Jellycat Amuseables Jellina Birthday Cake is 13 cm of rainbow multi amuseable, and the weight of it is the first thing anyone notices.

A closer look

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is rainbow multi and cream, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

How big it is

Amuseables Jellina Birthday Cake measures 13 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Part of the Amuseables range

The Amuseables range is where Amuseables Jellina Birthday Cake comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Cool water and a little time are all it asks. Avoid wringing it out, since that is what distorts the seams, and press the water out with a towel instead.

Choosing it as a gift

It reads as amuseables food and drink, which makes it an easy choice for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.

Why we stock it

What we are trying to build is a shop where a companion and something for it to wear can be chosen in the same visit without any measuring anxiety. Amuseables Jellina Birthday Cake is part of that, sized and banded so the outfit pages can be read against it directly.
