Sensational Seafood Scallop jellycat

Jellycat Sensational Seafood Scallop stands 10 cm tall, a cream sea creature with the quiet heft Jellycat is known for.

What it is like to hold

The proportions are doing the work here. Slightly heavier through the base than the head, so Sensational Seafood Scallop sits rather than topples, in a colourway of cream and orange that stays readable in a nursery with the lights low.

How big it is

At 10 cm, Sensational Seafood Scallop is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.

The collection it belongs to

Sensational Seafood Scallop is part of Sensational Seafood. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Washing by hand keeps the nap on the fabric, which is the part a machine cycle flattens first, and it is the difference between a plush that still looks new after two years and one that does not.

Suitability

It reads as everyday companion, which makes it an easy choice for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.

Where this sits in our shop

Our outfits are cut, sewn and finished by us, not bought in, and the plush we stock are chosen because our pieces fit them. Sensational Seafood Scallop is one of those. If you are buying both at once, the centimetre band on this page is the number the garment listings are matched against.
