Jellycat Ronnie Rockhopper Penguin Plush Toy

Jellycat Ronnie Rockhopper Penguin is 22 cm of black penguin, and the weight of it is the first thing anyone notices.

About Ronnie Rockhopper Penguin

Pick Ronnie Rockhopper Penguin up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs black and white, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.

Measurements and fit

The height is 22 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Ronnie Rockhopper Penguin belongs to Jellycat’s Jellycat Characters range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Jellycat Characters pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.

Suitability

The piece leans everyday companion, and it has been chosen most often here for a birthday and no particular reason at all. It wraps well, which matters more than it sounds when something is being given rather than kept.

Where this sits in our shop

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Ronnie Rockhopper Penguin included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
