Jellycat Featherful Swan

Jellycat Featherful Swan is a white swan from Jellycat, and it stands 39 cm tall.

What it is like to hold

The fur is the soft, slightly weighted kind that has made Jellycat’s animals hard to put down. The colourway is white, and the face is stitched rather than printed, so it keeps its expression through washing and through years of being carried about.

Size and fit

Featherful Swan stands 39 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

The collection it belongs to

The Jellycat Characters range is where Featherful Swan comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.

Who it is for

We list it under everyday companion, and it is picked here mostly for a birthday and no particular reason at all. Big enough to notice when it is unwrapped, and not so big that it has to find a permanent home the same day.

Why we stock it

A Flying Wish stocks Jellycat plush alongside the outfits we design and make ourselves. Every piece is designed with purpose, made to fit many beloved plush companions, and the two halves of the shop are meant to be used together. Featherful Swan is one of the plush our outfits are cut to fit, and the size guide sets out which pieces work with which band.
