A closer look

The proportions are doing the work here. Slightly heavier through the base than the head, so Nutcracker sits rather than topples, in a colourway of red and gold that stays readable in a nursery with the lights low.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Choosing it as a gift

It sits on the christmas / festive side of the shop and is most often bought for Christmas. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Where this sits in our shop

A Flying Wish is a small operation and it shows in the useful way: orders are packed by the people who made the garments, and the plush, Nutcracker among them, are checked rather than shipped straight from a box.
