Jellycat Nutcracker King
Meet Nutcracker King, in red with berry in it rather than fire. It arrives with the lights and tends to stay for the rest of the year. Filled evenly, so it keeps its shape after an afternoon of being held. It suits a nursery, a desk or a grown adult who will not admit it.
Sold by A Flying Wish, an independent shop not affiliated with Jellycat or any other brand. Stock is limited to the units we hold.

There is a stillness to Jellycat Nutcracker King, a red festive character of 34 cm that asks to be picked up.
About Nutcracker King
Pick Nutcracker King up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs red and gold, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.
How big it is
Nutcracker King measures 34 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.
The collection it belongs to
Nutcracker King is part of Nutcracker. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.
Made from, and looking after it
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.
Who it is for
Its register is christmas / festive, which puts it squarely in the Christmas bracket. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.
About A Flying Wish
Our outfits are cut, sewn and finished by us, not bought in, and the plush we stock are chosen because our pieces fit them. Nutcracker King is one of those. If you are buying both at once, the centimetre band on this page is the number the garment listings are matched against.
