Jellycat Neo Fish

Jellycat Neo Fish is 28 cm of blue fish, and the weight of it is the first thing anyone notices.

A closer look

The proportions are doing the work here. Slightly heavier through the base than the head, so Neo Fish sits rather than topples, in a colourway of blue that stays readable in a nursery with the lights low.

How big it is

The measurement is 28 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

The Jellycat Characters range is where Neo Fish comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.

Who it is for

We list it under everyday companion, and it is picked here mostly for a birthday and no particular reason at all. Big enough to notice when it is unwrapped, and not so big that it has to find a permanent home the same day.

Where this sits in our shop

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Neo Fish included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
