Jellycat Irresistible Ice Cream Chocolate

Jellycat Irresistible Ice Cream Chocolate is 18 cm of chocolate brown amuseable, and the weight of it is the first thing anyone notices.

A closer look

Irresistible Ice Cream Chocolate comes from the Amuseables, which take a familiar object and make a character of it. The colours run chocolate brown and cream, and the fabric has the faint nap that stops a plush looking flat in daylight, which is most of why these photograph as well as they do.

Size and fit

At 18 cm, Irresistible Ice Cream Chocolate is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.

The collection it belongs to

This one comes from the Irresistible Ice Cream range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.

Suitability

It is as fitting for a birthday as for no particular occasion at all. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

Why we stock it

A Flying Wish began with outfits and grew into the plush that wear them. Irresistible Ice Cream Chocolate is stocked here because it fits that idea, and because the pieces we design are made to last as long as the companion they are made for.
