Jellycat Amuseable Coffee Bean

Jellycat Amuseables Coffee Bean stands 13 cm tall, a brown amuseable with the quiet heft Jellycat is known for.

The piece itself

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is brown, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

Size and fit

At 13 cm, Amuseables Coffee Bean is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.

The collection it belongs to

Within Jellycat’s catalogue Amuseables Coffee Bean belongs to Amuseables, and that is the useful thing to know when you are choosing a second one. A range shares its finish and its proportions, so pieces from the same family photograph well together and, more practically, often share a centimetre band, which means they can share a wardrobe.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.

Choosing it as a gift

The piece leans amuseables food and drink, and it has been chosen most often here for a birthday and no particular reason at all. It wraps well, which matters more than it sounds when something is being given rather than kept.

Where this sits in our shop

What we are trying to build is a shop where a companion and something for it to wear can be chosen in the same visit without any measuring anxiety. Amuseables Coffee Bean is part of that, sized and banded so the outfit pages can be read against it directly.
