Jellycat Fossilly Triceratops

Jellycat Fossilly Triceratops arrives as a grey dinosaur, 17 cm from base to ear tip, soft the whole way through.

About Fossilly Triceratops

What distinguishes Fossilly Triceratops is the texture. It is the same everywhere you touch it, with no hard seams and no stiff patches, and the colourway of grey is matched across the ears and paws rather than left to chance at the cutting stage.

Size and fit

The measurement is 17 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

Part of the Fossilly range

Fossilly Triceratops sits within the Fossilly range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Suitability

It sits on the everyday companion side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Where this sits in our shop

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Fossilly Triceratops included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
