Meet Jellycat Fleur Fairy Daffodil, a yellow character of 23 cm that settles easily into the crook of an arm.
The piece itself
The proportions are doing the work here. Slightly heavier through the base than the head, so Fleur Fairy Daffodil sits rather than topples, in a colourway of yellow and green that stays readable in a nursery with the lights low.
Measurements and fit
Fleur Fairy Daffodil stands 23 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.
The collection it belongs to
The Fleur Fairy range is where Fleur Fairy Daffodil comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.
Fabric and washing
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.
Suitability
We list it under fantasy and collectible, and it is picked here mostly for a birthday and a collector. Big enough to notice when it is unwrapped, and not so big that it has to find a permanent home the same day.
About A Flying Wish
Our outfits are cut, sewn and finished by us, not bought in, and the plush we stock are chosen because our pieces fit them. Fleur Fairy Daffodil is one of those. If you are buying both at once, the centimetre band on this page is the number the garment listings are matched against.
