Jellycat Little Unicorn

At 18 cm, Jellycat Little Unicorn is a cream unicorn built to be carried rather than shelved.

The piece itself

Pick Little Unicorn up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs cream and pastel multi, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.

Size and fit

Little Unicorn measures 18 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Part of the Little range

Little Unicorn belongs to Jellycat’s Little range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Little pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Who it is for

We list it under fantasy and collectible, and it is picked here mostly for a birthday and a collector. Big enough to notice when it is unwrapped, and not so big that it has to find a permanent home the same day.

About A Flying Wish

A Flying Wish is a small operation and it shows in the useful way: orders are packed by the people who made the garments, and the plush, Little Unicorn among them, are checked rather than shipped straight from a box. The outfits are ours, the plush are Jellycat’s, and the sizing between them is the part we take care of.
