Jellycat Bashful Dragon

Jellycat Bashful Dragon arrives as a green dragon, 31 cm from base to ear tip, soft the whole way through.

A closer look

The proportions are doing the work here. Slightly heavier through the base than the head, so Bashful Dragon sits rather than topples, in a colourway of green that stays readable in a nursery with the lights low.

Size and fit

Bashful Dragon stands 31 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Part of the Bashful range

Bashful Dragon sits within the Bashful range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Who it is for

It reads as fantasy and collectible, which makes it an easy choice for a birthday and a collector, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.

About A Flying Wish

What we are trying to build is a shop where a companion and something for it to wear can be chosen in the same visit without any measuring anxiety. Bashful Dragon is part of that, sized and banded so the outfit pages can be read against it directly.
