Jellycat Cicero Sloth

Jellycat Cicero Sloth stands 34 cm tall, a brown sloth with the quiet heft Jellycat is known for.

About Cicero Sloth

The fur is the soft, slightly weighted kind that has made Jellycat’s animals hard to put down. The colourway is brown, and the face is stitched rather than printed, so it keeps its expression through washing and through years of being carried about.

Measurements and fit

Cicero Sloth measures 34 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

The collection it belongs to

The Jellycat Characters range is where Cicero Sloth comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Choosing it as a gift

It reads as everyday companion, which makes it an easy choice for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.

Why we stock it

A Flying Wish is a small operation and it shows in the useful way: orders are packed by the people who made the garments, and the plush, Cicero Sloth among them, are checked rather than shipped straight from a box. The outfits are ours, the plush are Jellycat’s, and the sizing between them is the part we take care of.
