Jellycat Caboodle Cream Kitten

Meet Jellycat Caboodle Cream Kitten, a cream kitten of 10 cm that settles easily into the crook of an arm.

About Caboodle Cream Kitten

The proportions are doing the work here. Slightly heavier through the base than the head, so Caboodle Cream Kitten sits rather than topples, in a colourway of cream that stays readable in a nursery with the lights low.

How big it is

Caboodle Cream Kitten stands 10 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Part of the Kitten Caboodle range

This one comes from the Kitten Caboodle range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Choosing it as a gift

It sits on the everyday companion side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Why we stock it

What we are trying to build is a shop where a companion and something for it to wear can be chosen in the same visit without any measuring anxiety. Caboodle Cream Kitten is part of that, sized and banded so the outfit pages can be read against it directly.
