Jellycat Blushing Boiled Egg
Blushing Boiled Egg comes in a clean, quiet white that makes everything near it look softer. Kitchen-table charm, the sort of thing that makes a shelf smile. The face is embroidered rather than printed, so nothing about it can wear away. It is the kind of thing people keep.
Sold by A Flying Wish, an independent shop not affiliated with Jellycat or any other brand. Stock is limited to the units we hold.

Jellycat Blushing Boiled Egg arrives as a white amuseable, 14 cm from base to ear tip, soft the whole way through.
About Blushing Boiled Egg
Amuseables work because the joke is gentle. Blushing Boiled Egg is white and yellow, given a face and two feet and otherwise left to be the thing it is, and the restraint is the reason it still looks right on a shelf a year later.
Measurements and fit
The measurement is 14 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.
Where it sits in the Jellycat range
Blushing Boiled Egg belongs to Jellycat’s Amuseables range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Amuseables pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.
Made from, and looking after it
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.
Suitability
It reads as amuseables food and drink, which makes it an easy choice for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.
About A Flying Wish
Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Blushing Boiled Egg included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
