About Amuseables Rainbow Birthday Cake

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is rainbow multi and cream, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

Size and fit

At 15 cm, Amuseables Rainbow Birthday Cake is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.

Part of the Amuseables range

The Amuseables range is where Amuseables Rainbow Birthday Cake comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Cool water and a little time are all it asks. Avoid wringing it out, since that is what distorts the seams, and press the water out with a towel instead.

Choosing it as a gift

It is as fitting for a birthday as for no particular occasion at all. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

Where this sits in our shop

What we are trying to build is a shop where a companion and something for it to wear can be chosen in the same visit without any measuring anxiety. Amuseables Rainbow Birthday Cake is part of that, sized and banded so the outfit pages can be read against it directly.
