Jellycat Bashful Fudge Puppy
Bashful Fudge Puppy comes in a deep, companionable brown, the colour of conkers and old libraries. It has the look of a creature already halfway through wagging. The face is embroidered rather than printed, so nothing about it can wear away. It is the kind of thing people keep.
Sold by A Flying Wish, an independent shop not affiliated with Jellycat or any other brand. Stock is limited to the units we hold.
Price range: $30.61 through $35.84

Jellycat Bashful Fudge Puppy comes in two sizes, 18 cm and 30 cm, a fudge brown puppy soft the whole way through.
About Bashful Fudge Puppy
What distinguishes Bashful Fudge Puppy is the texture. It is the same everywhere you touch it, with no hard seams and no stiff patches, and the colourway of fudge brown is matched across the ears and paws rather than left to chance at the cutting stage.
How big it is
Bashful Fudge Puppy measures 18 cm and 30 cm depending on the size chosen. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.
The collection it belongs to
Bashful Fudge Puppy belongs to Jellycat’s Bashful range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Bashful pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.
Made from, and looking after it
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Washing by hand keeps the nap on the fabric, which is the part a machine cycle flattens first, and it is the difference between a plush that still looks new after two years and one that does not.
Suitability
Filed under everyday companion, and chosen here for a birthday and no particular reason at all more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.
Why we stock it
We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Bashful Fudge Puppy among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
