Jellycat Amuseable Heart Boiled Egg

Jellycat Amuseables Heart Boiled Egg is 12 cm of white amuseable, and the weight of it is the first thing anyone notices.

What it is like to hold

Amuseables Heart Boiled Egg comes from the Amuseables, which take a familiar object and make a character of it. The colours run white and yellow, and the fabric has the faint nap that stops a plush looking flat in daylight, which is most of why these photograph as well as they do.

How big it is

At 12 cm, Amuseables Heart Boiled Egg is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.

The collection it belongs to

Within Jellycat’s catalogue Amuseables Heart Boiled Egg belongs to Amuseables, and that is the useful thing to know when you are choosing a second one. A range shares its finish and its proportions, so pieces from the same family photograph well together and, more practically, often share a centimetre band, which means they can share a wardrobe.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Who it is for

As a gift it works for Valentine’s Day and a birthday, and it belongs to the amuseables food and drink side of what we stock. If you are buying for someone who already has one or two, the range it comes from is worth a look for something that will sit beside them.

About A Flying Wish

What we are trying to build is a shop where a companion and something for it to wear can be chosen in the same visit without any measuring anxiety. Amuseables Heart Boiled Egg is part of that, sized and banded so the outfit pages can be read against it directly.
