Snowflake Knit Sweater Fits Jellycat 18cm Plush

A cream knitted sweater with a red snowflake worked large across the chest, ribbed at the cuffs and hem. The snowflake is knitted in colourwork rather than embroidered on top, so the back of the work stays flat and nothing catches. A teddy bear christmas sweater has to earn the name honestly, and a knitted snowflake does, it is the real technique rather than a print of it. Wash it flat, press the water out between towels, and never hang it while wet.

Will it fit your plush?

Measure your friend from the top of the head to the bottom, sitting or standing as they normally do. This one is cut for a plush about 18cm tall. It is designed around Jellycat proportions and fits other plush of the same height just as well.

Getting it on

Pull it over the head first, then guide each arm through. The knit has enough give to pass over a wide head and spring back. Nothing here is tight enough to squash a soft plush, and nothing is loose enough to slide off.

Looking after it

Hand wash cool and never wring the knit. Press the water out between two towels, reshape it on a flat surface and let it dry there, hanging a knit while it is heavy with water is what stretches it out of shape.
