Jellycat Mitten Kitten Shimmer

Jellycat Mitten Kitten Shimmer is 19 cm of red kitten, and the weight of it is the first thing anyone notices.

What it is like to hold

Mitten Kitten Shimmer has the quality that is hard to photograph and obvious in the hand, which is evenness. No thin patches, no hard filling anywhere, and a colourway of red and white carried right through to the underside rather than stopping where it stops being visible.

Measurements and fit

Mitten Kitten Shimmer measures 19 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Part of the Mitten Kitten range

Mitten Kitten Shimmer is part of Mitten Kitten. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Left to dry naturally it keeps its shape, and the stitched features come through a wash unchanged, which is the advantage of embroidery over anything printed or glued.

Choosing it as a gift

It sits on the everyday companion side of the shop and is most often bought for Christmas and a birthday. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Where this sits in our shop

Everything we make is built to celebrate the stories people share with the companions they keep. Mitten Kitten Shimmer sits on our shelves for that reason, and our own outfits are cut to fit it and the rest of the plush in its band. The size guide has the full table.
