Jellycat Merry Mouse Wreath

Jellycat Merry Mouse Wreath arrives as a green mouse, 18 cm from base to ear tip, soft the whole way through.

About Merry Mouse Wreath

Pick Merry Mouse Wreath up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs green and red, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.

Size and fit

The measurement is 18 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

Part of the Merry Mouse range

This one comes from the Merry Mouse range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Washing by hand keeps the nap on the fabric, which is the part a machine cycle flattens first, and it is the difference between a plush that still looks new after two years and one that does not.

Suitability

Its register is everyday companion, which puts it squarely in the Christmas and a birthday bracket. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

About A Flying Wish

Everything we make is built to celebrate the stories people share with the companions they keep. Merry Mouse Wreath sits on our shelves for that reason, and our own outfits are cut to fit it and the rest of the plush in its band. The size guide has the full table.
