Jellycat Fossilly T-Rex
Fossilly T-Rex, in a gentle grey, the shade of weather rather than concrete. It arrived from a very long time ago and has adapted to sofas remarkably well. The fur is the same everywhere your hand lands, which is the part photographs never show. It earns its place on the shelf within a day.
Sold by A Flying Wish, an independent shop not affiliated with Jellycat or any other brand. Stock is limited to the units we hold.
Price range: $29.00 through $59.00

Jellycat Fossilly T Rex is a grey dinosaur from Jellycat, stocked in two sizes, 12 cm and 28 cm.
What it is like to hold
Fossilly T Rex has the quality that is hard to photograph and obvious in the hand, which is evenness. No thin patches, no hard filling anywhere, and a colourway of grey carried right through to the underside rather than stopping where it stops being visible.
Measurements and fit
Fossilly T Rex measures 12 cm and 28 cm depending on the size chosen. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.
The collection it belongs to
The Fossilly range is where Fossilly T Rex comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.
Fabric and washing
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Cool water and a little time are all it asks. Avoid wringing it out, since that is what distorts the seams, and press the water out with a towel instead.
Who it is for
It reads as everyday companion, which makes it an easy choice for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.
Where this sits in our shop
A Flying Wish began with outfits and grew into the plush that wear them. Fossilly T Rex is stocked here because it fits that idea, and because the pieces we design are made to last as long as the companion they are made for.
