Meet Jellycat Festive Folly Gingerbread Ruby, a beige festive character of 10 cm that settles easily into the crook of an arm.
The piece itself
The fur is the soft, slightly weighted kind that has made Jellycat’s animals hard to put down. The colourway is beige and brown, and the face is stitched rather than printed, so it keeps its expression through washing and through years of being carried about.
Size and fit
The height is 10 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.
The collection it belongs to
Festive Folly Gingerbread Ruby sits within the Festive Folly range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.
Materials and care
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.
Suitability
It reads as christmas / festive, which makes it an easy choice for Christmas, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.
About A Flying Wish
Everything we make is built to celebrate the stories people share with the companions they keep. Festive Folly Gingerbread Ruby sits on our shelves for that reason, and our own outfits are cut to fit it and the rest of the plush in its band. The size guide has the full table.
