Jellycat Cushy Rhino

Meet Jellycat Cushy Rhino, a grey rhino of 29 cm that settles easily into the crook of an arm.

The piece itself

Cushy Rhino has the quality that is hard to photograph and obvious in the hand, which is evenness. No thin patches, no hard filling anywhere, and a colourway of grey carried right through to the underside rather than stopping where it stops being visible.

How big it is

Cushy Rhino measures 29 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Cushy Rhino belongs to Jellycat’s Cushy range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Cushy pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Spot cleaning handles most of what happens day to day, and a full wash is rarely needed more than once or twice a year unless it has been somewhere muddy.

Suitability

The piece leans everyday companion, and it has been chosen most often here for a birthday and no particular reason at all. It wraps well, which matters more than it sounds when something is being given rather than kept.

Where this sits in our shop

What we are trying to build is a shop where a companion and something for it to wear can be chosen in the same visit without any measuring anxiety. Cushy Rhino is part of that, sized and banded so the outfit pages can be read against it directly.
