Jellycat Amuseables Sip and Slurp Teacups

Jellycat Amuseables Sip and Slurp Teacups arrives as a white amuseable, 9 cm from base to ear tip, soft the whole way through.

A closer look

Amuseables Sip and Slurp Teacups comes from the Amuseables, which take a familiar object and make a character of it. The colours run white and blue, and the fabric has the faint nap that stops a plush looking flat in daylight, which is most of why these photograph as well as they do.

Measurements and fit

Amuseables Sip and Slurp Teacups stands 9 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Amuseables Sip and Slurp Teacups is part of Amuseables. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Suitability

Filed under amuseables food and drink, and chosen here for a birthday and no particular reason at all more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.

Where this sits in our shop

We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Amuseables Sip and Slurp Teacups among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
