Jellycat Amuseable Brussels Sprout

Jellycat Amuseables Brussels Sprout is 14 cm of green amuseable, and the weight of it is the first thing anyone notices.

The piece itself

The Amuseables idea is simple and it works. An ordinary thing is given a face, two small feet and enough personality to earn a place on a shelf. Amuseables Brussels Sprout reads as green, and the stitching around the features is neat enough to look deliberate rather than merely cute.

How big it is

The measurement is 14 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

Part of the Amuseables range

Within Jellycat’s catalogue Amuseables Brussels Sprout belongs to Amuseables, and that is the useful thing to know when you are choosing a second one. A range shares its finish and its proportions, so pieces from the same family photograph well together and, more practically, often share a centimetre band, which means they can share a wardrobe.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Left to dry naturally it keeps its shape, and the stitched features come through a wash unchanged, which is the advantage of embroidery over anything printed or glued.

Choosing it as a gift

As a gift it works for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it belongs to the amuseables food and drink side of what we stock. If you are buying for someone who already has one or two, the range it comes from is worth a look for something that will sit beside them.

About A Flying Wish

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Amuseables Brussels Sprout included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
