Butter Yellow Collar Dress Fits Jellycat 28cm Plush

A butter yellow dress with a wide cream collar, gathered sleeves and a pleated skirt, finished with a cream bow. The yellow is soft and slightly warm, which is the difference between looking sunny and looking acidic on a small garment. For jellycat bear with clothes this shape it is a good first dress: the collar sits flat, the sleeves are short enough not to bunch at a wide arm, and nothing needs fastening. The skirt holds its pleats because it is pressed and lined underneath.

Will it fit your plush?

Measure your friend from the top of the head to the bottom, sitting or standing as they normally do. This one is cut for a plush about 28cm tall. It is designed around Jellycat proportions and fits other plush of the same height just as well.

Getting it on

The dress pulls on over the head and settles at the shoulders. Ears and long limbs go through first, then the fabric drops into place. Nothing here is tight enough to squash a soft plush, and nothing is loose enough to slide off.

Looking after it

Hand wash cool with a mild detergent, reshape while damp and dry flat away from direct heat. The cotton blend keeps its shape best when it is not wrung out.

Made by A Flying Wish

This is made in our own workshop rather than bought in. That is why the sizing is written as a measurement you can check against the friend you already own. Small enough to keep in a bag, sturdy enough to be worn every day.
