Black Lace Bib Dress Fits Jellycat 18cm Plush

A black lace dress with a white bib collar and a black bow at the chest, cut short and full with a frilled hem. The bib is stiff enough to hold its shape against the black, which is the only reason the contrast reads properly at this size. Making a dress for toys in black usually risks looking severe; the white bib and the frill are what keep it from that. The skirt is lined behind the lace and the whole thing goes on over the head.

Will it fit your plush?

Measure your friend from the top of the head to the bottom, sitting or standing as they normally do. This one is cut for a plush about 18cm tall. It is designed around Jellycat proportions and fits other plush of the same height just as well.

Getting it on

The dress pulls on over the head and settles at the shoulders. Ears and long limbs go through first, then the fabric drops into place. Nothing here is tight enough to squash a soft plush, and nothing is loose enough to slide off.

Looking after it

Hand wash cool and treat the lace gently; no soaking, no twisting. Lift it out, press between towels and dry flat. A cool iron on the lining side only, if needed.
