Amuseable Ice Cream Jellycat

Jellycat Amuseables Ice Cream comes in 3 sizes, 21 cm, 29 cm and 50 cm, a cream amuseable soft the whole way through.

The piece itself

Amuseables Ice Cream comes from the Amuseables, which take a familiar object and make a character of it. The colours run cream, and the fabric has the faint nap that stops a plush looking flat in daylight, which is most of why these photograph as well as they do.

Measurements and fit

The height is 21 cm, 29 cm and 50 cm depending on the size chosen. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Amuseables Ice Cream is part of Amuseables. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Washing by hand keeps the nap on the fabric, which is the part a machine cycle flattens first, and it is the difference between a plush that still looks new after two years and one that does not.

Suitability

As a gift it works for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it belongs to the amuseables food and drink side of what we stock. If you are buying for someone who already has one or two, the range it comes from is worth a look for something that will sit beside them.

Where this sits in our shop

A Flying Wish began with outfits and grew into the plush that wear them. Amuseables Ice Cream is stocked here because it fits that idea, and because the pieces we design are made to last as long as the companion they are made for.
