Ruby Gold Storybook Dress Fits Jellycat 28cm Plush

A storybook dress with a red bodice, puffed sleeves, a laced blue panel at the front and a full yellow skirt, worn with a large red bow. It is the most costume-like piece in the range and deliberately so, three strong colours, a laced front and a proper puffed sleeve, all cut small. Among plain dolls dresses it is the one that gets picked for photographs. The sleeves are gathered at the shoulder rather than set in, which is what lets them clear a wide plush arm.

Measure your friend from the top of the head to the bottom, sitting or standing as they normally do. This one is cut for a plush about 28cm tall. It is designed around Jellycat proportions and fits other plush of the same height just as well.

Getting it on

The dress pulls on over the head and settles at the shoulders. Ears and long limbs go through first, then the fabric drops into place. Nothing here is tight enough to squash a soft plush, and nothing is loose enough to slide off.

Looking after it

Hand wash cool with a mild detergent, reshape while damp and dry flat away from direct heat. The cotton blend keeps its shape best when it is not wrung out.
