Peach Knit Sundress Fits Jellycat 28cm Plush

A peach knit sundress with a lace panel at the hem and narrow straps, worn with a peach bow. Knitting a sundress is an odd idea that works: the knit gives the dress enough weight to hang properly while the lace keeps the bottom edge light. For dolls with dresses of this kind the knit is also the forgiving option, because it stretches over a wide head and springs back. Wash it flat and never hang it wet. The bow is separate.

Will it fit your plush?

Measure your friend from the top of the head to the bottom, sitting or standing as they normally do. This one is cut for a plush about 28cm tall. It is designed around Jellycat proportions and fits other plush of the same height just as well.

Getting it on

The dress pulls on over the head and settles at the shoulders. Ears and long limbs go through first, then the fabric drops into place. Nothing here is tight enough to squash a soft plush, and nothing is loose enough to slide off.

Looking after it

Hand wash cool with a mild detergent, reshape while damp and dry flat away from direct heat. The cotton blend keeps its shape best when it is not wrung out.
