Terracotta Velvet Dress Fits Jellycat 28cm Plush

A terracotta velvet dress with a cream lace collar, worn with a brown bow and a small shoulder bag. Velvet in a warm rust is the most autumnal thing in the range, and the short pile catches light without shedding onto a plush. As a baby doll.dress shape it is cut high at the waist and full below, so the velvet falls in soft folds rather than pulling anywhere. The collar lies flat, the bag lifts off, and the whole thing goes on over the head.

Will it fit your plush?

Measure your friend from the top of the head to the bottom, sitting or standing as they normally do. This one is cut for a plush about 28cm tall. It is designed around Jellycat proportions and fits other plush of the same height just as well.

Getting it on

The dress pulls on over the head and settles at the shoulders. Ears and long limbs go through first, then the fabric drops into place. Nothing here is tight enough to squash a soft plush, and nothing is loose enough to slide off.

Looking after it

Hand wash cool with a mild detergent, reshape while damp and dry flat away from direct heat. The cotton blend keeps its shape best when it is not wrung out.
