Jellycat Vivacious Vegetable Beetroot

At 22 cm, Jellycat Vivacious Vegetable Beetroot is a purple amuseable built to be carried rather than shelved.

The piece itself

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is purple and green, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

Measurements and fit

Vivacious Vegetable Beetroot measures 22 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Vivacious Vegetable Beetroot belongs to Jellycat’s Vivacious Vegetable range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Vivacious Vegetable pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.

Who it is for

It sits on the amuseables food and drink side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

About A Flying Wish

We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Vivacious Vegetable Beetroot among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
