Jellycat Dickensian Bunny
Dickensian Bunny arrives in beige with a little warmth in it, closer to sand than stone. Ears first, always, as though listening for something the rest of the room has missed. Weighted just enough to sit properly rather than slump. The kind of gift that gets named within the hour.
Sold by A Flying Wish, an independent shop not affiliated with Jellycat or any other brand. Stock is limited to the units we hold.

At 23 cm, Jellycat Dickensian Bunny is a beige bunny built to be carried rather than shelved.
The piece itself
The proportions are doing the work here. Slightly heavier through the base than the head, so Dickensian Bunny sits rather than topples, in a colourway of beige and red that stays readable in a nursery with the lights low.
Measurements and fit
The height is 23 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.
Where it sits in the Jellycat range
This one comes from the Dickensian range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.
Fabric and washing
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Washing by hand keeps the nap on the fabric, which is the part a machine cycle flattens first, and it is the difference between a plush that still looks new after two years and one that does not.
Suitability
Filed under everyday companion, and chosen here for Christmas and a birthday more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.
About A Flying Wish
Our outfits are cut, sewn and finished by us, not bought in, and the plush we stock are chosen because our pieces fit them. Dickensian Bunny is one of those. If you are buying both at once, the centimetre band on this page is the number the garment listings are matched against.
