Jellyact Bashful Blue Bunny Huge

There is a stillness to Jellycat Bashful Blue Bunny, a blue bunny of 51 cm that asks to be picked up.

A closer look

Bashful Blue Bunny is made from the dense, brushed fabric Jellycat uses across its animals. The colouring is blue, deepest along the back and lighter underneath, which is what gives the shape its softness in photographs and in a dim room.

How big it is

Bashful Blue Bunny measures 51 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Bashful Blue Bunny belongs to Jellycat’s Bashful range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Bashful pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Choosing it as a gift

It sits on the everyday companion side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Why we stock it

We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Bashful Blue Bunny among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
