Jellycat Brambling Hedgehog
Meet Brambling Hedgehog, in brown that holds the light rather than swallowing it. It brings the hush of the undergrowth, where nothing hurries and everything listens. Soft to the point of being difficult to put down again. The sort of present that outlasts the occasion it was bought for.
Sold by A Flying Wish, an independent shop not affiliated with Jellycat or any other brand. Stock is limited to the units we hold.

A brown hedgehog at 18 cm, Jellycat Brambling Hedgehog belongs to the part of Jellycat’s range made for holding.
About Brambling Hedgehog
What distinguishes Brambling Hedgehog is the texture. It is the same everywhere you touch it, with no hard seams and no stiff patches, and the colourway of brown and cream is matched across the ears and paws rather than left to chance at the cutting stage.
Size and fit
The height is 18 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.
Part of the Brambling range
The Brambling range is where Brambling Hedgehog comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.
Materials and care
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Washing by hand keeps the nap on the fabric, which is the part a machine cycle flattens first, and it is the difference between a plush that still looks new after two years and one that does not.
Who it is for
It is as fitting for a birthday as for no particular occasion at all. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.
Where this sits in our shop
What we are trying to build is a shop where a companion and something for it to wear can be chosen in the same visit without any measuring anxiety. Brambling Hedgehog is part of that, sized and banded so the outfit pages can be read against it directly.
