Jellycat Amuseables Cream Star

Jellycat Amuseables Cream Star arrives as a cream amuseable, 24 cm from base to ear tip, soft the whole way through.

The piece itself

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is cream, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

How big it is

The measurement is 24 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

The collection it belongs to

The Amuseables range is where Amuseables Cream Star comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Washing by hand keeps the nap on the fabric, which is the part a machine cycle flattens first, and it is the difference between a plush that still looks new after two years and one that does not.

Suitability

The piece leans novelty and fun, and it has been chosen most often here for a birthday and no particular reason at all. It wraps well, which matters more than it sounds when something is being given rather than kept.

About A Flying Wish

We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Amuseables Cream Star among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
