Jellycat Amuseable Clementine

Meet Jellycat Amuseables Clementine, a orange amuseable of 13 cm that settles easily into the crook of an arm.

About Amuseables Clementine

Amuseables Clementine comes from the Amuseables, which take a familiar object and make a character of it. The colours run orange and green, and the fabric has the faint nap that stops a plush looking flat in daylight, which is most of why these photograph as well as they do.

Measurements and fit

The measurement is 13 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

Part of the Amuseables range

Within Jellycat’s catalogue Amuseables Clementine belongs to Amuseables, and that is the useful thing to know when you are choosing a second one. A range shares its finish and its proportions, so pieces from the same family photograph well together and, more practically, often share a centimetre band, which means they can share a wardrobe.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Suitability

It reads as amuseables food and drink, which makes it an easy choice for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.

Where this sits in our shop

Everything we make is built to celebrate the stories people share with the companions they keep. Amuseables Clementine sits on our shelves for that reason, and our own outfits are cut to fit it and the rest of the plush in its band. The size guide has the full table.
